Quality and Ratings according to Catalogue of Bulgarian Wine 2018:
Intense crimson colour; potent, multi-layered nose, notes of peppercorn, blackberry, ink and dried leaves are perceptible; full body with mature tannins and the sense of fruit confit, turmeric and dark chocolate flavours; long, chocolate finish. An exceptional wine.
Quality and Ratings according to DiVino (September 2017):
Very intense, dense ruby colour. Piquant nose typical for the sort with fresh ground black pepper, cardamom, black tea, ink and tar. Outstanding depth in the body, tight and crisp, with very compact impressions: cocoa, tar, black pepper and dried walnut foliage. Long, piquant and dry with obvious character and potential to age (2018 – 2022). An exceptional wine with its own classic style (91 pts.).
