Bouquet is a hybrid red wine grape variety, created in 1951 in the experimental vineyard in the town in Septemvri by crossing the varieties Mavrud and Pinot Noir.
Qualities and assessment according to DiVino (November 2013):
A beautiful ruby red colour with soft gleams. A deep, very complex nose with subtle musky perfume notes, with juicy blackberry and cherry, sweet spices, olives and earthy notes. A fresh, lively, flexible and elegant body with discrete perfume and pepper aromas and a long, noble finish. Very good work was done with the variety. It has a potential for development from 2013 to 2018. An outstanding wine, a classic in its style (91 р.).
