A deep and vivid garnet colour, a rich complex nose with accents of peppers, musk, smoke , leather, but also preserved fruit - black cherry and blackcurrant; a body of medium texture and excellent balance; a long savoury finish. An outstanding wine.
Qualities and assessment according to DiVino (October 2013):
A vivid ink-red colour. A blend of Syrah, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Mavrud. An attractive "chocolate" nose with notes of prunes in dark chocolate, mocha, indigo and sweet spices. A medium, flexible body with an excellent freshness, attractive fruit and cocoa until the end of the taste. Suede, mature tannins that show a good aging potential (2013-2018); 1500 bottles. An outstanding wine, a classic in its style.
