Qualities and assessment according to DiVino (March 2013):
A very intense dark garnet colour with soft brick tints. An attractive, deep and complex nose with noble notes of cedar, tobacco, sweet spices, leather and earth, sweet vanilla and pine needles. A full, powerful body with fine, suede, mature tannins, excellent extraction and a long, spicy finish. A wine with aging potential of at least five years (2013-2018). An excellent wine.

Qualities and assessment according to The Catalogue of Bulgarian Wine for 2014:
An intense garnet colour with soft gleams; an intense multi-layered nose with hints of forest mushroom, dried meat, vanilla cake, eucalyptus; a powerful body with fine tannins and an excellent balance; a long finish with a memory of smoke. An outstanding wine with potential.
