A preserved saturated cherry colour; the nose features cold smoke, roasted fruits, animalistic tones and exotic spices – cinnamon; a tight body with a pleasant freshness and a hint of vine leaves in the taste; a spic and somewhat dry finish. An excellent wine.
Qualities and assessment according to DiVino (November 2013):
A vivid, opaque, inky red colour. A noble, restrained nose with notes of liquorice, lavender, peppermint, cedar tree, iodine, dark chocolate. Juicy and fresh, with caressing satin tannins, with perfectly preserved ripe fruit and a long, somewhat salty, elegantly mineral finish. A wines with remarkable aging potential (2013-2018). (4000 bottles). An outstanding wine, a classic in its style (91 р.).
