Qualities: an elegant ruby colour with brick shades; an intense complex nose with accents of leather, cloves, chocolate, fresh mint, pepper and vanilla; a medium body with a somewhat salty taste and a long warm finish.
Assessment: an outstanding wine.
Qualities and assessment of DiVino (August 2012)
A saturated, clear dark garnet colour. A restrained, spicy nose with sweet Eastern spices, chocolate, mineral, iodine, dried tomato and black cherry. A medium to full, elegant and fresh body with mature suede tannins and a long, spicy finish, which shows aging potential (2012-2017). An excellent wine.
