The first red wine from the AW Own Selection series, made especially for Apollowine by Villa Melnik and precisely blended by Dimitar Nikolov. The bottle is elegant and stylish with a lable designed especially for us to give the wine character and style.
Apollowine Melnik is a shimmering ruby-red colour. When you begin to pour it into a glass, you will discover a wealth of aromas – blackberry, cherry, black forest fruit and spices – and delicately rustic notes. Combines the terroir and finesse characteristic for the outstanding wines of the Melnik region’s 2017 vintage. Think of ripe blackberries and a handful of just-picked juicy forest fruit and so on, layer after layer, with an almost imperceptible thread of vanilla woven gently into each. Gorgeous acidity protects it until the moment when we present it to you. And, yes, juicy and temperamental with a long and fruity finish, which makes us choose it and proud to call it ours. Rated 100 pts. (out of a possible 100).
