Very intense, impenetrable ruby-red colour. Attractive nose dominated by notes of liqueur: black currant crème and fresh walnut liqueur, iodine, dried sour cherries in rum and chocolate. Medium to full, surprisingly crisp and aromatic body with notes of vanilla, smoke, sour cherries in rum and cocoa. Long, smoky vanilla finish. May continue to age (2017-2021).
