Quality and Ratings according to DiVino (January 2018):
Very dense, opaque colour. The nose is typical for the sort and interesting with its notes of freshly ground black pepper, violets and chokeberry. Sweet body with mature, granular tannins and woody, smoky flavours in the finish. A wonderful example of Rubin with potential (it is still too young to be consumed). May be opened in a year or two or continue to age (2019 – 2023). An exceptional wine with its own classic style (91 pts.).
