Quality and Ratings according to DiVino (December 2016):
Lively, dense, opaque colour – inky. The nose is elegant and specific to the sort with delicately perfumed notes of black pepper, violets and plenty of chocolate with accents of leather and meat. Deep yet rounded and medium body with well-ripened velour tannins and an exceptional peppery finish. Excellent Rubin! May continue to age (2017 – 2023). An exceptional wine with its own classic style (92 pts.).
