Outstandingly dense, deep garnet colour with mild terracotta suggestions of development. The nose is also dominated by a noble bouquet of the developments in the bottle, with notes of dried flowers, dried leaves, roasted walnut, baked pumpkin with caramel and dried tomatoes in herbal olive oil. Potent body with significant, literally chewy tannin structure and a very long, noble finish. The wine may be consumed now, but we suggest it be opened after a year or two. May age well (2018 – 2025). An exceptional wine with its own classic style (92 pts.).
