Nearly opaque ruby colour; delicate, complex nose - dried leaves, iodine, exotic spices (cinnamon and clove) and pitted fruit (ripe sour cherries) are perceptible; body with mature tannins and an elegant flavour bouquet - once again with exotic spices along with fine floral notes; long finish with dark chocolate. Exceptional wine.

Somewhat disappointingly does not coincide with the rating from DiVino in March 2015:
Deep, dark ruby colour, liqueur nose with black currant, prunes and rum raisins. The body is voluminous and toasted, with sweet tannins and a long, piquant, slightly dry finish. A very good wine (86 points).
