Beautiful intense garnet colour; layered nose with accents of ivy, bearberry, musk and cigar box; firm body with velvety tannins and a rich flavour bouquet - sweet red pepper, clove and fruit juice; long, elegant finish with an unexpected hint of fruit. Exceptional wine.
Quality and Ratings according to Di Vino (September 2014):
Opaque, dark ruby colour, dense and beautiful. Appealing nose with sweet accents of chokeberry, black currant liquor, fresh green peppers, baked plums with cinnamon and cocoa. Smooth medium to dense body, harmonious and appealing, with velvety tannins, sweet black cherries, prunes with caramel and cinnamon, combined with exotic spices at the conclusion. A bombastic wine, still needs to age and will be better in a year (2015 - 2019). Exceptional wine with its own classic style (92 points).
