The coupage is Cabernet Sauvignon & Cabernet Franc & Merlot & Petit Verdot, with an opaque, saturated, crimson colour. An attractive, expressive nose with notes of well ripened black fruit in chocolate, buttered toast, red pepper and coffee. Smooth, satiny body with velvety, mature tannins, with hints of coffee-fruit, peppers, and bell pepper in the remarkably long finish. (2016-2020). An excellent wine (90 pts.).
