Qualities and assessment according to DiVino (September 2012):
A deep, opaque ruby colour with soft tints. The blend is of Cabernet Sauvignon & Merlot. A juicy, attractive, complex nose with accents of ink, cedar, juicy blackcurrant, cherry in dark chocolate, roasted meat. A medium to full body, grainy and suede, with mature tannins and a long, elegant finish. It can be drunk now, but has a serious potential for aging (2013-2018). An outstanding wine, a classic in its style.

Qualities and assessment according to The Catalogue of Bulgarian Wine for 2014:
A garnet colour with brick shades; an intense multi-layered nose - with forest fruits, fresh mint, cocoa, dried meat, juicy plum; an elegant harmonious body with velvety tannins and a long somewhat dry finish. An outstanding wine.
