A saturated dark garnet colour. An impressive nose with vanilla, smoke, black fruits, tobacco, spearmint, saltiness and butter. A round, soft, fresh and attractive body with a long, butter-and-vanilla, coffee finish. This wine can age.
Comment of Vinobg by 21 December 2011:
One of the producers of superior Mavrud in recent years is Rumelia Wine Cellar. We also recommend tot you their other wines, most of which have been awarded gold or silver medals at European competitions. As we know, the chance they would just tolerate Bulgarian producers there is laughably small. Therefore, their wines have honestly earned the medals, Q.E.D.
