The colour is deep purple and sparkly. The aroma is intense and rich, dominated by ripe black fruit and juicy sour cherry, with a perceptible fresh accent of mint, caramel candy, cream, chocolate and light toasted tones. The taste is balanced and juicy, with a good texture, and a very long finish, which is dominated by ripe fruit, pleasantly combined with accents of smoke and caramel.
Maturation: the wine has aged for 6 months in new American oak barriques, and has the potential to develop in the bottle up to 5 years.
