With a gold medal from Brussels. It is listed on the site of Belveder as a gold medal of the Mondial du Vin Brussels. This competition seems to be better known as the Concours Mondial de Bruxelles. The year of awarding is not given. After all that changing of hands, the successor to the former Menada - Syarovi Brothers1901 seems to have lost track of their company history. Their wines of that time have had a time travel into the past. The company does not have them even in a picture. It’s good that there is something left in our basement. The prize cannot be from earlier than 1994, when the first competition was held. It might well be exactly from it.
Comment of Vinobg:
The price was especially for somebody from that lost-in-time company with a sense of dignity and history, of which only the latter remains now. After the closure of the Menada Winery, this wine will be valuable only for the organizers of the competition in Brussels. If they have not misplaced the records for some obscure gold medal of some even more obscure country, that is.
